Honda S2000: Budget Supercar

What’s that?

The little Honda has become almost immediately a cult, but the real consecration happened when prices on the second-handed market has made it more accessible and people were able to see what they had in their hands. A 2 seater convertible, with a front engine and rear-wheel drive with a weight distribution of 50:50, a rev limiter at 9000 rpm and 240 horses spit out by the 2.0cc 4-cylinder that screams like a maniac ever since you start it (with the iconic button) until you park in the garage, sad that you have already ended your drive.

How does it drive?

The S2000 is fast, has a good grip and communicates with you constantly. Like a faithful dog, favors if you want to widen the rear and satisfies your hears with an unmistakable sound. The standard exhaust, with its two tailpipes is great, but if you tune it and raise the noise, you will feel what is like to live with a huge number of decibels. The fact that Honda has only made very light aesthetic makeover, over the years, it makes you realize that this is a quite perfect car.

Most Wanted or not?

It is beautiful, has a true sports car shape, goes fast as hell and you get one with only a few bucks. If this is not a contender among the best performance cars ever, we are doing the wrong job.
