Hyundai i20 N | News
Having recently updated the superb i30 N, introducing the brand new dual-clutch automatic transmission, Hyundai has decided that the time has come to expand its Performance lineup, and what better opportunity than to take advantage of the new i20, taking inspiration from the i20 WRC rally car? The little one stops playing the role of the city & family hatchback and, while keeping intact the daily car capabilities that are suitable for this type of sports vehicles, gains muscle and power, thanks to its 1.6 cc GDI turbo engine that delivers 204 horsepower and 275 Nm of torque. The same is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox with front-wheel drive.
Small in size, but not in character, as it does not hide all the aerodynamic characteristics that will allow to increase the grip and driving safety that we have experienced with its sister i30 N, in this case sharpened by a very angular and equipped diffuser and spoiler at the rear, but also with much more marked bumpers and side skirts than the standard model. Also in this case we have Launch Control and Rev Matching, with the option of a mechanical self-locking differential, just to underline that this is an authentic sports car.
