“Passionate for the Coventry’s Jaguar since childhood, I still remember when my father was taking me to my grandparents on Sunday morning, and I sat next to him, in his wonderful XK120. Not a single day passed without the will to grow up, get my driving license and buy my first Jaguar. Today, near to my fifty birthday, I have experienced more than a dozen Jags in my garage and each of them has fully satisfied me (excluding the XJS), not to mention that I am the lucky owner of the new XJ, but not a standard XJ, but the 510 hp Supercharged one. A beast of almost two tons, which is able to offer supercar performance, maintaining a constant comfort and a great security that only a sedan of these dimensions, is able to offer. I could tell how aesthetically scratchy it is, a real cat, or how much luxury lives in its interior, a rich leather and aluminum atmosphere that I only want to share with the people close to me. In fact, it may seem silly, but I think the car cabin is fundamental, as a place where we experience moments, stories and then I give importance even to those who want to be part of these stories. I have a 2005 XJR, which is become the second car, just when I bought this new model. The XJ Supercharged must remain pure, in a kind of mutual intimacy, where I take care of her, and she takes care of me and my family. In this way, in a few years, when my son will write something about his car (I won’t tell what car it is), maybe he will experience the same emotions I do, remembering those Sundays of those wonderful old days.”
