Jaguar F-Pace SVR | News
You wasn’t expecting this, right? But we know that the most beautiful surprises are precisely these, especially if the new F-Pace arrives in its sportiest version, the 550-hp SVR. That’s right, the maximum power is the same as the outgoing model, but there is more torque – 700 Nm (+20) – and improved dynamic figures. The supercharged 5-liter V8 is mated to an all-wheel drive 8-speed ZF automatic transmission with torque on demand, enough to allow the big British SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 kph in just 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 286 per hour.
There is a better efficiency and optimized performance with Dynamic Launch function which, during gear changes, uses the inertia of the transmission to avoid power loss on the wheels. Brakes are bigger and with double 395 mm discs at the front and 396 mm at the rear, essential to allow a car with such power and size to move smoothly, even on a winding road. The SVR is also distinguished by a more aggressive look, with new air intakes for cooling the braking system and consequently less aerodynamic drag. The passenger compartment is even more comfortable and luxurious, including the new 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and the infotainment system courtesy of a display with 11.4-inch curved glass. Prices starting from € 108.850.
