Jaguar XE: Little Feline’s Facelift
Being an excellent alternative to the bigger sisters XF and XJ, the little Jag, the smallest sedan on the list of the English brand, goes back into the spotlight thanks to an interesting facelift that rejuvenates its lines. Thinner headlights and tail lights, but also an upgrade for the rear and front bumpers, where we also find a different and more slender grille if compared to the first model.
But it is especially inside that the XE needed improvement and finally it shares the same sense of compactness and elegance seen with the I-Pace, thanks in particular to the 10-inch touch screen and the 12.3 inches one behind the steering wheel. The gear rotor also disappears in favor of a more conventional lever. Finally, it will start with a single engine, a 4-cylinder 2-liter turbo with 296hp, if you opt for the R-Dynamic – 247 horsepower, as base equipment. This suggests that, at least for the moment, we will not have diesel units, not even the pretty entertaining V6, but we will soon know more about it and almost certainly welcoming hybrid units.
