Lamborghini Huracan Evo: Straight Outta Your Dreams
Evo: a simple word that contains a very deep amount of meanings, updating the Huracan both aesthetically and mechanically, after about four years since its entry into the dreams of every self-respecting car fanatic. The beating heart of the “smallest” bull from Sant’Agata Bolognese keeps its naturally aspirated 5.2 V10, but earns 30 horses, thus reaching 640. The 600Nm of torque, always put on the ground thanks to the four-wheel drive and an automatic 7-speed transmission allows even more exciting performance, such as a 0 to 100 kph of just 2.9 seconds (0.3″ less), a 0-200 of 9 seconds and a top speed of 325 per hour.
But to be honest, the most substantial update is not so much in its pure power, as for the precision between corners, regardless of whether they are the curbs of a racing track or the bends of a winding mountain road. The Huracan Evo adopts a system consisting of rear wheels steering (introduced with the Aventador S) and an electronic control unit that assists the driver when the game gets really tough. The LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) promises to make the power of this Lambo exploitable, without for this overshadowing the involvement of driving a model deeply updated also thanks to the experience with the Performante version, which remains as logical the most race track focused of the lineup. Finally, we have a redesigned body shell and a renewed design, especially at the back, as well as the cabin where we find a new 8.4-inch touch screen through which to manage the multimedia and the dynamic aspect. Costs starting from € 224,500.
