Lamborghini Revuelto | News
Better late than never. With the retirement of the Aventador, the time has also come for Lamborghini to deploy a hybrid supercar and try to keep up with its competitors. It’s called Revuelto, yet another tribute to a famous raging bull, known for having aimed at the public the likes of eight times. Don’t worry, despite the hybridization, the iconic V12 so dear to Sant’Agata Bolognese is still here.
Let’s start immediately with the numbers: 1,015 hp of maximum combined power, 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 (which alone delivers 825 hp) and rev limiter set at 9,500 rpm. Not bad! The Revuelto adopts an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox and logically maintains four-wheel drive, essential to manage such power, which despite the electric unit promises to maintain the famous feeling that a Lambo is able to offer. 3.8 kWh rechargeable battery from your living room – just saying – and a completely new look, which revolves around the “Y” shape and gives a thin and pointed front and an eccentric rear that positions the huge pair of exhausts in the middle of the tail.
The cockpit has also been revised (finally), now made less plasticky, with a large touch display in the center and a steering wheel full of controls, a joy for younger customers. Customers who, towards the end of 2023, will have to spend at least €500,000 and face long waits, given that the Revuelto has already created the consistent waiting list that every new Lambo ready to enter the scene deserves.
