Lotus Evora 410: The Sharpest Symphony
We liked the Evora 400, but we did not fall in love. Probably we’re not the only ones to have had the impression that something is missing to make it a more attractive alternative to an Exige V6 Cup or a Cayman GT4. And at Geneva, exactly one year after its debut, the House of Hethel presents an even more sharp and incisive version called Evora 410. There’s less weight (-70kg) and there are 10 more horsepower, as suggested by its same name, but also the look has been further embittered, as you can easily see from the all-new panel placed on the engine compartment, and thanks to some details that tend to make it more aggressive leaving behind that line otherwise too similar to Lightning McQueen. But we’re talking about Lotus and it should not be fair to mention only the aesthetic side, since you have to focus on the substance, and so the Evora 410 accelerates from 0 to 100 in just 3.9 seconds and reaches 300 per hour with no problems (just like the Evora 400, but with more sincerity). The gearbox, manual or automatic, is a six-speed and is connected to the rear wheels, while a limited slip differential and stiffened suspension that help to throw the small British supercar into corners at even more crazy speeds than you do with the already powerful 400. As for its interior, everything remains unchanged. So, the changes from the 400 are a few but well-focused and ready to make the Evora a new benchmark in the world of sports cars, never forgetting that even if tiny and tight, there are also two small rear seats. You never know…
