MAGGIORA AND COACHBUILDER VIOTTI TOGETHER TO BRING BACK TO LIFE THE WILLYS BRAND

At the Bologna Motor Show, these days, you can see the result of the collaboration between Maggiora and Turin Coachbuilder Viotti, in the form of the AW380, which is the tribute to the historic Willys brand and more precisely to its Interlagos, model based on the Alpine A108 and produced between 1958 and 1956, a period in which it obtained numerous rally successes. Timeless rode with some references to modern days, the AW380 has a 6-cylinder twin-turbo 3.8 engine which delivers 610 horsepower, that combined with a feather weight of just 1.350kg (thanks to a body entirely made of carbon fiber), allow a sprint from 0 to 100 kph in just 2.7 seconds. Rear-wheel drive and six-speed gearbox. It will be built only in 110 units and all that will happen in Turin (Italy), with prices starting from € 380,000. Certainly not a cheap way to pay homage to the classic South American car. But ambition, sometimes, trumps everything.
