Maserati GranTurismo, GranCabrio and Grecale: More Power, New Design and Improved Range

On the occasion of the centenary of the Trident logo, Maserati has updated three key models in its range: the GranTurismo, GranCabrio and Grecale. The refresh focuses primarily on design, technology and powertrains, with the aim of further strengthening the brand’s position in the luxury segment.

From a styling perspective, the design language first introduced on the MCXtrema now makes its way to the production range. The GranTurismo and GranCabrio feature a completely redesigned front end, with a wider, more horizontal and aggressive appearance, aerodynamically optimized air intakes, external air curtains and a revised splitter to increase downforce. At the rear, new clear-lens taillights make their debut. The Grecale also evolves with a lower and wider front fascia, characterized by a pronounced “shark nose” design and new grille treatments.

Inside, the cabin gains a newly designed motorsport-inspired steering wheel, a redesigned digital clock, an updated PRND selector and fully refreshed graphics for the infotainment system.

On the technical side, the evolution of the Nettuno V6 engine takes center stage. The new GranTurismo and GranCabrio Trofeo now deliver 590 hp, an increase of 40 hp over the previous generation, along with 650 Nm of torque and a top speed of more than 320 km/h for the coupe. The 490 hp versions remain available, both powered by the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 featuring Formula 1-derived pre-chamber combustion technology.

For the Grecale, Maserati introduces a new 390 hp Nettuno V6, available in the Grecale V6 and Modena V6 variants, while the Trofeo retains the 530 hp V6 capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and reaching a top speed of 285 km/h.

The development of the all-electric Folgore range also continues. The GranTurismo Folgore now exceeds 540 km of driving range thanks to new energy-management algorithms, while the Grecale Folgore further improves aerodynamic efficiency, achieving up to 580 km of range and gaining as much as 53 km depending on wheel configuration.
