Maserati Introduces Its New Trofeo Collection | News
Presented as the Trofeo Collection, the Maserati trio concerns the most exciting side of the Modenese trident, the one that Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante address to the most demanding bit of their customers, all just over a month before the highly anticipated debut of a model that will deeply renew the DNA of the brand. It is a tribute to Italy, also underlined by choosing the Italian flag colors for representing the three models that move the bar of performance above the competitors, making the two sedans the new benchmark in terms of maximum speed – not only for the brand – with 326 kph of top speed (302 for the Levante).
All three share the passion and attention to elegance and details that distinguish them from other versions, such as bumpers with larger air intakes, grille with double vertical slats and carbon fiber for the front air intakes and for the rear diffuser, without forgetting the lower profile of the red-tinted logo and 21-inch Orione aluminum rims (22-inch for the Levante). In addition to being aesthetically linked together, what catches our attention is the new engine that turns them into the most sensational musical instrument you could possibly drive, a 3.8cc twin-turbo V8 capable of delivering 580 hp and 730 Nm of torque, which will exploit its full potential in the new driving mode called Corsa.
Jumping on board we find light updates, such as a dedicated interface while starting the car and embroidered logos on the headrests, while as for the infotainment system there are no major changes, but let’s face it, who would ever want to think about anything other than pressing hard on the throttle and enjoying the symphony of an engineering masterpiece like this V8?
