Like a bolt from the blue, McLaren reveals the latest new model that fits into the most exclusive niche of its list, the one dedicated to the Ultimate Series. It is called Elva – in honor of the models created by its founder Bruce McLaren in the 60s – and it is a two-seater roadster that intends to pay homage to the racing spirit of the English brand, offering a weight reduced to the bone and making it the lightest McLaren ever.
Produced in only 399 units with the exclusivity and maximum concentration towards the driving experience offered by the platform offered by the Senna, it displaces a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 able to ground 815 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, in these cases we usually talk about 0-200 kph, covered by the Elva in just 6.7 seconds, obviously using rear-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic transmission, together with a titanium and inconel exhaust. Finally, behind such an ambitious project there is the possibility of personalizing every small aspect of one’s model thanks to the MSO department, with prices starting from 1.7 million Euros.
