Michel Vaillant | Cinema
Based on the homonymous and famous comic books series that sees the protagonist struggling with different categories related to the world of motorsport, the story told in “Michel Vaillant” may seem obvious, but it is certainly able to offer entertainment for an hour and a half, launching the viewer next to the paper pilot with a steel heart. Vaillant, struggling with the most important race of the season, the 24 hours of Le Mans, will have to face the return of the long-time rival team – the Leader – willing to do anything to get the top step of the podium.
TITLE: Michel Vaillant
YEAR: 2003
DIRECTED BY: Louis-Pascal Couvelaire
LENGHT: 1h 43min
GENRE: action
The production of this film certainly does not aspire to be a sort of sports documentary, so we cannot expect great realism, but rather a lot of spectacle. Fans will recognize some interesting locations, as well as the cars used by the main characters, not to mention the blindfolded adrenaline-fueled track blast behind the wheel of the blue Pagani Zonda of the family. For those familiar with the comics, finding your favorite driver in this movie will be a pleasant surprise. Recommended, ideal for spending a relaxing evening, still remaining anchored to our beloved world of cars.
