Mini Cooper S JCW
BUDGET CARS
With this model, BMW was able to bring back to life the original good quality, creating a benchmark in design, customization and especially in driving dynamics. The R53, upgraded with the JCW package, represents the definition of go-kart feeling, which, in this case, was not a marketing gimmick. Instead, it is one of the few road cars that really reflects the behavior of those pretty looking but demonic vehicles at the same time; able to unleash endless fun, if you only push hard on the throttle. Its 4 cylinder 125bhp/liter lavished a full and melodic sound from the exhaust, that makes tangible the large amount of full progression just until you reach 7000rpm; all feelings are amplified by infinite gear ratios, albeit vehemently downloaded. Impossible not to be charmed by the large amount of feedback that comes driving it, at each press on the gas, the supercharger hisses blatantly to accompany the instant push; the steering, just incredible, is surgical and harmonized perfectly to the frame and to the granite suspension setup. Setting which, through corners, often leads to behave like maniacs, playing with under and oversteer in a completely natural although sudden way. The DSC, invasive and without regulations, demands to be excluded, when you decide to increase the pace. At that point, it is all in your hands. Sometimes dangerous, but you have to do that, because this very model was born for this.
