Molte Curve 2024 | Events
Once again it all started by placing a road map on the office main desk. We set a starting point and a finishing point. Then, all that was left was to connect them together in the most winding way possible. When it was time to name this event, we had no doubts: it would have been called Molte Curve.

Point A and Point B must be connected and there are many ways to do it. However, only one is a common joy for every self-respecting driving enthusiast, that is to do it with a succession of curves. With this in mind, a new event was born and adds to the busy calendar of our magazine. A name that leaves no room for misunderstanding, but only for your imagination: Molte Curve (many curves). And for this first edition we decided to combine driving pleasure with the cultural aspect offered by one of the best factory tour programs out there. A total and immersive experience that thanks to the different registration packages has made possible to choose how to spend your day and how far to delve into the world of Dallara Automobili, one of the most important companies in the automotive industry and absolute representation of Italian excellence in the world.
We start early, so early that the sun has not yet risen. After a very hot summer and a few days of rain, it seems that today the weather will be on our side, allowing a break with some clouds to make the temperature more crisp than we could have expected, but still ideal road conditions for a day in which the tires will certainly not be spared. We meet in Sarzana, a few kilometers from La Spezia. The Ristorante del Re, in close collaboration with the Santa Caterina Park hotel, reserves the glamorous Leonardo conference room for us, where the crew accreditations and breakfast take place. At 8 o’clock it is time for the briefing a couple of minutes before finishing the stickering of some cars and the first stamp is applied on the roadbook, ready to set off towards one of the most loved roads by those who breathe more petrol than oxygen.
The SS62 della Cisa is all for us, something that explains the reason for an earlier start than usual. Traffic is non-existent on the southern side that takes us out of Liguria, touching Aulla and then Pontremoli, which is commonly considered the beginning (or the end) of the SS62 as motor enthusiasts understand it. The curves follow one another softly and the width of a deserted road at the first lights of day allows for moments of intense and engaging driving even more than our brightest expectations. The asphalt is perfect and after (too) little we are at an altitude of 1,041 meters, at the top of Cisa. The participating crews gather together and begin to reel off their first impressions, observing the great variety of sports cars here, from pure supercars to an incredibly particular and unique model like a shiny 1978 Golf MK1.
The desire to get back behind the wheel is strong and we set off again. Ferrari, Porsche, BMW M, Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio (but not only), Jaguar and many others, all united by those characteristics that make sharing this passion a magical and essential moment for each of the participants. Berceto, Cassio, Terenzio and in the blink of an eye we touch Fornovo di Taro, reaching the following checkpoint in Sant’Andrea Bagni, where we take advantage of a large and comfortable resting area surrounded by greenery to enjoy the first real rays of sunshine of the day. The break is deliberately longer than usual, we are perfectly on time and we take the opportunity to exchange a few words with unexpected calm. A glance at the clock and we set off again along the most panoramic portion of the entire tour, namely the SP54 that draws a semicircle before coming back to Varano de’ Melegari and reach the restaurant for lunch.
We reach the Fopla around midday, as we manage to park all the cars in front of the restaurant and sit to enjoy a hearty lunch based on local specialties, a must if you visit the area. The restaurant is a cauldron of flavors, while in the parking lot the cars rest after the intense bends attack straddling the border between Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. We continue with the awards ceremony and get back in the car for the short transfer that takes us to the Dallara HQ. Here we split into two groups and begin the guided tour of the museum, also going to discover the research and development department and the many other sections thanks to which the brand has put its name in all the most important categories of motorsports around the world. Epilogue in the driving simulator room, where some of the participants challenged each other – driving a Dallara Stradale of course – battling for the fastest lap, with the first three classified winning fantastic special prizes signed Dallara Automobili.
The Molte Curve did exactly what we intended, that is, reach a place – in this case the Dallara world – in the most fun way possible, by taking many curves, indeed Molte Curve. We would therefore like to thank the main ingredient that allowed us to spend a perfect day, that is, the participants, the beating heart of an automotive passion that is capable of creating new friendships, consolidating others and writing adventures and memories that smell of petrol and mistreated tires. All in the name of engines and there is nothing better sounding than this.
