Forget any idea about dusty garages or boring warehouses where cars our grandparents used to drive are piled one above the other. Just by the enormous parking located right in front of the Boeblingen structure, you have a taste of what awaits you on the inside. The fact that there are also official dealers like Lamborghini, McLaren and Bentley certainly helps a lot. The entrance is free and despite being able to visit every corner of Motorworld in a couple of hours, there is a serious chance to spend the whole day in there.
It all begins with a bunch of shops, passing through historical car dealers and a handful of iconic models exhibited in the main area, some still with dust collected during their last Mille Miglia. Prices aren’t crazy, and indeed, you might even get your unexpected bargain. Passing from a 40-year-old car to a brand new supercar, the second pavilion is on the way, where huge, two-storey glass beams host private cars that have chosen Motorworld to keep their supercar rather than leaving it alone in some dark garage. In addition to a safety advantage, each “cell” offers a controlled temperature and a battery charge maintainer, but above all it is a unique chance for curious and passionate people who can enjoy a huge offer of dream cars – new and historic ones – which would otherwise be the next “garage queens”, which not only miss a strip of asphalt but also sunlight.
If you come nearby, take a look at Boeblingen’s Motorworld, and going upstairs will seem to go back in time and look at your model collection, well-ordered on your bedroom’s shelves.
