New Porsche 911 Turbo S: Warp Speed Engaged
Assimilated and welcomed the news that the new 911 will all be equipped with turbo engines, you should not think that the “classic” 911 Turbo and Turbo S, may be penalized. In fact, as an alternative to the track-focused (and rear wheel drive) GT3 and GT3 RS, the supercar from Stuttgart are ready for an upgrade, both aesthetically and mechanically. In terms of look, some details inside and out change, with a “knob” that will let you choose the various driving modes, a new sound system, air intakes and a new cover for the engine compartment, while at the performance level, each one earns 20hp, respectively passing up to 540 and 580 horses. This upgrade is the result of a careful high-end work to the cylinders head, combined with a fuel pressure that reaches major peaks. But it does not end here, in fact, for providing 2,9 and 3 seconds on the 0-100 (Turbo and Turbo S) and an optimized fuel consumption, you can count on a new device which preconditions the gearbox, depending on the input that the driver provides. There is also the PSM that manages the intervention of the traction control system, to the benefit of the driving involvement.
