Nissan GT-R LM Nismo
TARGETING LE MANS
Nissan has made it big and at the Super Bowl XLIX, has unveiled the weapon that will guarantee success at the 24 Hours of Le Mans: here is the Nismo GT-R LM. Under a slightly unusual look, although less bizarre than the Deltawing, lurks the new car that will compete with Audi, Porsche and Toyota, in one of the toughest categories in the world, the LMP1 series. Built in carbon composite panels with a polycarbonate windshield, the GT-R LM weighs just 880kg and has the engine, a 3.0cc V6 with KERS technology, located at the front, just like traction, run by a latest generation self-locking differential. Innovations all Made in Nismo also for the braking system and the steering wheel, which thanks to an LCD display, will provide all the necessary info for drivers during the races. The track debut is scheduled for April 12 at Silverstone.
