Epic, is the right word. In these years of “PlayStation Generation” where people believe to have the attributes just because they know every inch of the most infamous circuit in the world, photos like these have the task of stopping time and make people think. The ‘Ring, the Green Hell, the battlefield that has always distinguished real men from boys, made proper heroes a handful of pilots, whose deeds will live forever. But like all things, there was a beginning, a time when there was only forest to pave and roads to build, and so, between the autumn of 1925 and spring of 1927, with a record time, works on the most important and iconic motorsport structure of all time saw the light.
