Pink Drivers: Opel Corsa GSI
Pink Drivers – Episode 3
Opel Corsa GSI
You don’t have to be so old in order to remember the legendary GSI badge alongside the Opel brand. It is in fact synonymous with sportiness, just like OPC, but I must say that rereading it on the latest generation of the small Corsa – prior to the new series presented a couple of days ago – is pretty special to me. It is yellow, very yellow, it releases vivacity from all the pores and is not ashamed to suggest that sporty inclination that promises doses of fun thanks to its 1.4-liter 4 cylinders with 150 horses.
The Corsa GSI is powered by a small turbo engine, but thanks to its lightness and compact dimensions it manages to move with extreme agility in those curvy roads that are the ideal proving ground for the so-called hot-hatches. At the same time, as a must for cars modeled on small cars that give a nod to the whole family and to our everyday’s life, it also knows how to be able to move on long motorway trips with what showed up as an excellent fuel consumption. The Recaro sports seats are incredible and in general even the less experienced immediately understand that this is not a traditional Opel Corsa. I had the chance to drive it pretty much everywhere, also because it is a model so dear to me. Would you like to know more about this? Then don’t miss my complete article, coming soon on the pages of Auto Class Magazine and here, of course, where girls at the wheel feel at home.
