Tires are the shoes of a car, you hear this often. And as it seems illogical to imagine chasing someone wearing 12-centimeter heels, trying to throw a sports car into tight curves with tires more suited to a supermarket cart is a dangerous idea, as well as insane.
Once seated behind the wheel and with head and body deeply focused in search for the apex, all that matters is the communication between the driver and the road below, which rightly passes through the tires.

To taste the real-life behavior of these tires we decided to test them on the brand new Bentley Continental GTC, providing us valuable information in order to find out how the Pirelli tires really work, using a set of Pirelli P Zero 275/35 R22 up front and Pirelli P Zero 315/30 R22 at the rear.

To move the more than two and a half tons of the luxurious Anglo-German we have the beauty of 630 horses, but the real challenge is to make it agile between corners and to stop a massive bullet capable of reaching 100 kph, starting from standstill, in just 3.8 seconds.
No compromise between comfort and power
The qualities of the P Zero come into play because they can communicate with the driver, but also because at the same time they are able to avoid transmitting rough inputs or that can in any way penalize on board comfort. Regardless of whether it’s a more traditional sports car or a bulky grand tourer like the GTC, with the Pirelli P Zero there will be no compromise between comfort and performance, but a rubber capable of enhancing the qualities that the driver asks for based on to their own characteristics and habits, also giving the opportunity to go hard on the chassis and unload the available power to the ground.
