The most common mistake when thinking about the winter season is to believe that you’ll have to forget driving pleasure because of the need for a spasmodic search for greater safety, due to the possibility of driving on wet asphalt, if not covered by snow or ice. On cars of this kind and this price range (over € 100,000) there is no room for compromises and the need to offer comfort on smooth roads but also on harsh terrains, as well as the ability to deliver its power safely in any circumstance, show why the Scorpion Verde All-Season were the choice made by the men at Land Rover.
First of all it is a technologically eco friendly product that therefore respects the environment, thanks to a reduced cost of ownership and low pollution. Furthermore, driving noise is reduced to the minimum, to the benefit of on board comfort. As far as the performance side is concerned, we are also dealing with a really accurate handling, where a precise connection to the ground below is guaranteed even on wet asphalt thanks to the four circumferential channels that drain water and snow to the outside. It was logical to take a Range Rover far from urban centers and during one of our many climbs to the peaks of the Alps we faced all kinds of weather conditions, including a storm that thankfully, being equipped with the right tires, was just a pleasant way to remember how incredibly important the right tire is, especially with the imminent arrival of the winter season.
