Porsche 718 Cayman Goes Turbocharged!
As promised, after the 718 Boxster, also the Cayman embraces turbocharging with the new 4-cylinder turbo engine. Before turning up your nose, read as the 2.0-liter 300 hp and 379Nm and the 2.5 350hp and 418Nm are more efficient and performance than ever. Starting with its torque, with a curve that makes available the maximum power reserve at low revs, through a more rigid chassis and slightly more generous rear tires, able therefore to offer more grip and connectivity with the road. If fuel consumption and emissions are therefore gratified by this particular downsizing, performance remains respectable, with the 718 Cayman S that takes 4 seconds flat to sprint from 0 to 100 kph (if equipped with PDK). You can also opt for the Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) and the famous PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management), in order to make your own 718, the usual exceptional Porsche fighter. Good news is the fact that this will not cost you either in terms of running costs nor for the price tag, set at around € 78,000 (around € 69,000 for the Boxster 718).
