Porsche 911.2 Gets The GTS Treatment
You know that better than us, when you are undecided while choosing your next Porsche and your mind bounces between the pure character of a “simple” Carrera and the extreme brutality of the various GTs, the GTS variant is the one that satisfies everyone amplifying driving pleasure and involvement once behind the wheel through targeted interventions that make your 911 more responsive, but still retaining the character of a car able to grind kilometers without necessarily smashing your spine.
Aesthetically, we find the traits of the new 911.2, then we have the new sports exhaust systems and the Sport Response at the steering wheel, while the chassis is lowered by 10mm thanks to the PASM Sport and the horses become 444, allowing the GTS to reach 100 per hour in just 3.6 seconds.
It will of course be available for each variant of our beloved 911 and so with only rear-wheel drive or all-wheel-drive, Coupe, Cabriolet and also Targa. The 3.0cc turbocharged engine is what we have tested and used to love a few months ago and that puts all in agreement for supplying an output very close to that of a naturally aspirated one, which many are quite related to. So if you can’t take home both a GT3 and a Carrera S, this is the best way to satisfy your need of having the right Porsche for every situation.
