Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package | News
The latest incarnation of the 911 in its GT3 version is the ultimate image of a racing car fitted with plates for on the road usability. Whether you prefer to bring it on track, or attack some mountain roads, you will count on the non plus ultra of Porsche technology, made available here for those who have always dreamed of lifting the cup from the top step of the podium. After a few months from its introduction to the world, Stuttgart announces an aesthetically less hardcore variant, called the Touring Package.
Basically, you take a 992 GT3 and strip it of the flashy rear wing with gooseneck braces. The price is the same: € 176,855. It’s actually not that simple. In fact, Porsche manages to maintain the mechanical details that make the new GT3 one of the best performing sports cars out there, available with both manual gearbox or fitted with a PDK double clutch combined with the naturally aspirated 6-cylinder boxer ready to ground 510 horsepower and 470 Nm of torque. The weight contained in just 1,418 kg remains unchanged and even if it will lack a few kilograms in terms of downforce, it is in the real world that the Touring Package points its claws, offering performance and road behavior substantially similar to its sister with the giant spoiler, but ensuring a less extreme look accentuated by bumpers with finishes in the color of the body and chrome details on the window frames.
