Porsche Cayenne Coupe: A Bit Late, But With Arrogance
It’s called marketing logic and where there is more demand there will inevitably be more offer and therefore concentration from car makers. Confirmed the traditional Cayenne and Macan, recently renewed in look and mechanics, Porsche introduces a new model in its SUV family, the Cayenne Coupe. Actually the “SUV-Coupe” – yes, it sounds really strange – comes a little late compared to the competition (someone said BMW X6?), but it is logical to suppose that the lovers of the Stuttgart horse will already be considering what color to spec the interior.
The model obviously shares the structure with the standard Cayenne, but the rear is more sloping and if the two rear passengers have to slightly sacrifice themselves, there will be the possibility of opting for a panoramic glass or carbon fiber roof, while at the rear you might even have the adaptive spoiler, the same fitted on the latest Panamera. Two engines will be available at launch, the 3.0-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder with 340-hp and the Turbo, powered by a 4.0-liter, 550-horsepower V8 twin-turbo engine, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kph in 3.9 seconds and reach 286 kph. Prices starting respectively from € 86.692 and € 151.230.
