Porsche Macan: Sill Hot, So Here Comes The Update
After the Cayenne, it is now time for the Macan, which according to the amazing results obtained – about 350,000 units sold since 2014 – has done a great job, strong of a recipe based on compactness and performance, without the slightest renunciation for what concerns comfort and the image that a Porsche guy asks from a car that in several cases goes next to an angry 911 in the garage.
For the 2019 restyling Porsche adopts the same solutions presented with the new Panamera and Cayenne and then with the distinctive LED strip at the rear, then there are also LED daytime running lights, a new front bumper and new colors to match the 20 and 21 inches alloy wheels. In the cockpit there’s still the ergonomics that a Porsche aficionado expects, but we now have a touch display that goes from 7″ to 11″, while on a dynamic level there are updates on the chassis and the differentiation between the front tires and the rear ones, which will offer benefits during driving, especially at high paces.
In this regard, the basic model could offer a 4-cylinder with 300hp (instead of the current 252), while for those who want even more, you can opt for the Turbo, equipped with a 2.9cc V6 and about 434hp.
