LIVING WITH A SUPERCAR (…True Supercars Owners Stories)
“I call it Fantasmina (little ghost), but as soon as I get in the garage, She looks ready for pure speed, I always think that deserves a most evil name, especially worthy of her abilities. I purchased it last year, almost simultaneously with the boom of spontaneous combustion of different engines of models sold earlier. I never feared it could happen, I always owned Porsche and Ferrari and I am aware that with such an engineering, incidents can happen. After the call, my Fantasmina returned home, with even more desire to be together. She’s my pet, my traveling companion. I own a second car, I use to go to work every day with that, but when I know I have a trip or travel miles of road, I’ll take her. The engine always wants to be pushed to the limit and the chassis is something that you can’t describe to those who have not driven one. Porsche has further improved the already perfect GT3 RS 997 series. The automatic transmission allows you to use it in every situation, without having to wear “pilot shoes”. I curse my desire to always want the latest model, because I know that one day I will sell her and I will miss her a lot, because the bound that links us is something I’ve never experienced with any other car.
If I were back in front of the GT3 and the 458 Italia again, I would have no doubt: the GT3 is for drivers, the 458 for exhibitionists.”
