Redefining The Laws of Sound With Capristo
CAPRISTO EXHAUST ITALY
REDEFINING THE LAWS OF SOUND

After the intense morning at the new Capristo Italy HQ, I sup my American coffee with the confirmation that the flame of passion can continue to burn. Let’s take a few steps back, as in the best tv series, and you will be by my side. Modern sports cars, whether supercars or super sedans with more than 500 horses, become more and more powerful, fast and efficient year after year, but with the same growth in terms of road and track concreteness, they are increasingly tamed and filtered. Whether it is about those inputs that are transmitted to the driver or a pure involvement argument, the common feeling is that the spark that is able to make you fall in love with a car at first sight is a bit lost, and above all, differences from one to the other are constantly diminishing. That’s why, in 99% of cases, just signed the check to the dealer, you will be in front of the garage door fitting an exhaust system that is not only useful for increasing the volume of each movement, but that acts as a link between the desire to drive and the satisfaction that is felt even in the most random of your A to B. An all-in-one simple and quick action that does not go against that tons of technology that breathes underneath the driver’s seat. In the jungle of proposals there is a brand that has caught our attention in recent years, making high quality and precision its ultimate battle horse – that is why this morning I am in Biassono, visiting Capristo Exhaust Headquarter in Italy, official distributor for the German brand.
The location finds itself in an industrial area just a few miles from the temple of speed, the Autodromo of Monza. No better place to accommodate a car that needs personality and let it pass under the surgical hands of Monza Garage, coming out with a voice ready to fill the air and your future days. Capristo is a well-known signature and offers high quality exhaust systems for supercars and high-performance sports cars, covering brands such as Audi, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, Ferrari, Lamborghini and even Pagani. But thanks to the continuous search for perfection, you have the possibility to install (or maintain, if provided once stock) open-close valves and control units to optimize the exhaust gas flows and increase the power of your engine. And like a baby in a toy store, you can’t help but notice the aerodynamic carbon fiber appendages, which will give you a personal touch to the aesthetic of your beloved ride. But if in this automotive clinic there is also the possibility of using a dyno, or to exaggerate and mount a set of new and high quality wheels, thanks to proposals from Cinel Forged Wheels, or even to use various detailing and wrapping services, everything that will fill your brain will be the new definition of decibels. You just need to hear that, a sizzle and you can’t resist the power of sound. This is what true car guys need.
So we take the small but angry AMG A45 entirely wrapped by D-Factory and we head for the race track, taking advantage of every deserted road in the Biassono industrial area. We leave nothing on the road, but with extreme greed we land horses and assisted by AMG’s all-wheel drive, we let this phenomenal and crazy Capristo’s show car speak loud for itself. The volume has not only been raised, gaining in depth and releasing those adorable crackles once the throttle is released. We go into the paddock area and look for a secluded place, quite hidden in order to make some moving shots and put the tires under stress. It does not matter if on the track cars are running at full speed, everything we can hear, alternating with tire screeching, is a steady and vigorous roar that, once sitting at the wheel is even more baritone and even more inclined to make us go flat-out. Here is the magic of motoring, here is one of the tricks that is able to elevate your home to office trip in something you will do with a huge smile printed on your face – and most likely with the windows lowered, even with frozen winter temperatures . Everything in the name of the exaltation of sound, which best represents that innate desire to drive a special car.
