Skoda Octavia RS 230
DON’T CALL IT A SECOND CHOICE
Days when Skoda was accompanied with an economic and plasticky image are so far away. The brand, since it has been finally acquired by VW Group, has a number of interesting proposals and can satisfy more than a customer. The new Octavia RS 230 is one concrete example. Presented at the Geneva Motor Show and ready to debut in June of this year, the midsize sedan pulls out a great class and an increasingly personal style. The 2.0 TSI delivers 230-hp, distributed on the front axle only, which for the first time, has a limited slip differential. The overall look is nice, both outside and inside, giving the Octavia RS a personal image that will please even the most picky viewers. Performances provide a sprint from 0-100 kph in 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 250 per hour. The growth of Skoda and Seat is no longer a news and these models will no longer be relegated to be second choices.
