SLR Club: This is a Proper Driving Tour
In this case, the cover says it all: the SLR Club is without a doubt one of the most exclusive clubs you could ever meet. And unless you own an SLR McLaren or a rare SLR Stirling Moss, or that you were among the lucky few invited to the recent tour through the Austrian Alps, it will be difficult to be part of this family. However, the tour organized during the recent weeks and called “Feel the difference 2015”, as the name suggests, offered participants the opportunity to drive their 612-hp coupe through some of the most scenic roads of Europe. The various SLR, including a couple of beautiful 722 Edition, and some models of the more affordable AMG range, have traveled several kilometers, crossing Kitzbuhel and the highest mountain in the country: the Grossglockner, which with its 48 km, has led the club at an altitude of 2,504 meters. If these photos are not enough to satiate your hunger for AMG, try, just like us, to scrape enough pennies to find a suitable Mercedes for next year’s edition.
