Solitary Speciale
“I bought this beautiful blue 458 Speciale just a week ago. Second hand, but in excellent condition: it has very few kilometers, carbon-ceramic brakes and an extremely sexy interior, thanks to the yellow seats that make contrast with the profusion of alcantara that covers pretty much everything. This Speciale replaces my old 458 Spider, originally white, then it was wrapped in military green, then black, and then returned to its original color. It accompanied me for many trips across Europe, but that’s another story. Today I want to celebrate my new Prancing Horse, that as soon as I saw it, I was hooked and finally convinced to make the leap. Compared to the 458 Spider, the Speciale has more horsepower (600), stiffer suspension, more powerful brakes and an extremely noisier exhaust. The color combination is what struck me the most, but at the level of performance I was looking for something decidedly less civil because when I drive, I often have a heavy foot and I firmly believe that this new Ferrari will not disappoint. Most km, as said before, I drive on the highway or on mountain roads, most of the time on my own, because many of my friends do not share my passion for “Ferrari wandering”, as I call it. I love waking up in the morning, put in a bag a pair of clothes and leave, perhaps without destination. The place of arrival has always been chosen by the 458 Spider, now it’s up to the Speciale, but certainly, in the meantime, we will have fun like crazy. At full throttle, of course.”
