“Volpiano 27 September: first ever Sparco Day organized in collaboration with Expo Tuning Turin.
100 custom cars filled every corner of the Company: Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, iridescent colored Mini Cooper, a 240 hp Beetle, a Lancia Fulvia from Piedmont Veteran Car Club of Turin, the 500 Club, the Mazda MX- 5 club, the legendary Oscar Custom and so many other guests who have chosen to live this special day with us. Many of them came from far away, Jurgen Platz with his BMW X6 has traveled 400 km not to lose the first edition of the Sparco Day.
Mint polished cars that speak about tuning but not in the encyclopedic meaning of the term, because it would be an understatement: for these people Tuning is a proper “art” applied to the vehicle. How art born from an idea, a thought, so the customizations of these cars are born from dreams, ideas and the desire to stand out from the crowd. Every detail is studied, imagined, desired and finally realized with the help of professionals and “artisans” of the industry.
The day’s program included the opening of Sparco’s production department to a group of guests. The clothing area, where suits are made of customized for Sparco’s Team/drivers and the seats production area, where new platforms prepare themselves to be fitted on the most exclusive supercars.
In the parking lot in front of the store a wild Federico Sceriffo entertained everyone with various performances at the wheel of his Japan Team Orange Subaru, because with this very car he started performing the true art of drifting and since then collected five European titles, the International D1 GP Exhibition Match of Tokyo in 2012, top prize for a pro drifter, and again in 2012, the Red Bull Drift Battle in Tienmeshan Mountain in China … and now he is ready for conquering new fans in the US..good luck!
Without forgetting the presence of Dekra, a leading global organizations specializing in professional services and consulting for the automotive, industrial and advanced services that focuses on security as their mission. During the day, guests were able to try first hand the “controlled skids” learning to keep the car on the road on slippery surface … and we have seen some good moments!
It ‘was a wonderful day where passion was in the air and we hope that the Sparco day can become a regular event for every cars enthusiast”.
