Speed Has A Shape, That of Techart’s GTStreet R Cabriolet
After having admired and drooled on the crazy GTStreet R, Techart’s reinterpretation of the bloody fast 991 Turbo S, the German tuner manages to surprise again taking off the roof and taking off our sleep. The GTStreet R Cabriolet is the apotheosis of evil, it seems to come from another world and despite its lines are typically Porsche, it’s hard to tell if it came from space or the future.
Based precisely on the 991 Turbo S, Techart offers three steps of power: 600, 640 and 720 horses. What remains unchanged is the profusion of carbon fiber, a load of aerodynamic appendages and air vents and the meticulous care that makes every detail a fundamental touch of this way more than special model. It will take 2.7 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100 kph and reaching about 340 per hour, your hair will no longer need a hairdresser, because the wind will knock your head entirely. Then there are huge 21-inch wheels, a combinations of more subdued colors than the Coupe, but always to point out that performance is the primary target of this rocket on wheels. And the rear wing? We worship wings of generous size, especially if in addition to making a car more ferocious also make it more stable – in this case, the huge rear spoiler is able to adjust itself in the best way possible and generate up to 321kg of downforce. We can’t wait to drive it!
