With the production’s death of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X, Subaru is preparing to monopolize that market made of medium/small all wheel drive sports sedans, in which will essentially remain the only viable proposition. If in 2017 they will introduce the new STI model, the Pleiades wants to kill the wait and turn the knife of every Evo owner, with a limited edition of the heir of the legendary Impreza. The SC207 will be produced in only 400 units and has just been presented at the Tokyo Motor Show as “the most enjoyable car ever”: its yellow livery definitely helps (only 100 will have this particular color), but we also find some interesting upgrades, the 4-cylinder boxer now reaches 330 hp and can take advantage of torque vectoring, adjustable suspension, Brembo brakes, 19″ wheels and a new front spoiler. Plus, there will be a special series of just 200 units, called Nurburgring Challenge Package, which features a special carbon fiber rear spoiler and a plaque commemorating the class win at the 2015 24h of Nurburgring.
