Summer Isn’t Over For BMW: Here’s The New Z4
Pebble Beach loves the Z4. Last year we saw the concept and this year we can finally touch first hand the definitive model that we can all be driving, strictly with the canvas roof folded into the rear compartment. The Z4 that BMW has shown to the public this year is the M40i First Edition, a model that does not hide the potential and its desire to satisfy driving pleasure, always fixed point of every BMW with an aggressive look like this.
To contrast the showy Frozen Orange Metallic of the specimen here, there are large 19″ wheels with double spokes and dark details that accentuate the ribs of the body. The design has been enhanced in favor of a more massive and much more dynamic line than the previous model, keeping logically the family feeling of the latest products of the Bavarian company. What interests us most, however, will be there in front, under the long bonnet. Pushing the M40i there is an in-line 6 cylinder 3-liter with a total power that should be around 380 horses, enough to give a 0-100 of 4.4 seconds. To make the driving experience even more enthusiastic, there will be a powerful M Sport braking system and an electronic self-locking differential at the rear. We like it!
