Tesla Cybertruck | News
Elon Musk certainly needs no introduction. You know that man well, right? A visionary capable of shaking the world even with a simple joke, like his new product which is no less important and indeed seems to extremely accentuate the concept of distorting what everyone expects from the American full-electric brand. The Cybertruck, an armored vehicle that ironically did not pass the bulletproof glass test during its big reveal, thus surrendering to the unexpected violence of a steel ball, have already caused discussion for its deliberately squared design. Apparently landed out of a bad 90s video game, it still managed to divide enthusiasts and the experts, also thanks to a paltry deposit set at just € 100.
One of the strength points of the Cybertruck is certainly represented by the possibility of configuring it with two or four-wheel drive and therefore choosing between two or three engines. Launch prices set at around € 36,000, just over $ 9,000 compared to the cheaper of the Tesla range, the Model 3, the Cybertruck is 5.88 meters long and 2 wide, with a 1.9 meter cargo compartment which can contain a good 2,830 liters (sheltered from the weather). Its towing capacity is remarkable too, with an impressive 6.350 kg figure, but as it happens for all the other Tesla vehicles, performances are going to be impressive as well, with a 0-100 kph of 4.5 seconds and a maximum speed of 193 per hour for the Dual Motor AWD version. As for the entry level model – front-wheel drive only – it takes 6.5 to shoot from 0-100, while the most powerful Tri Motor AWD starts at around $ 69,900 and boasts an incredible 2.9 seconds for the 0-100, with a top speed of 209 per hour.
Despite the unexpected surprise that took place during the reveal, the Tesla Cybertruck promises not only maximum occupant safety, but also excellent off-road capabilities, as well as a whole series of accessories that can transform it into the ultimate vehicle for your work activities or for weekends in the wild. Finally, a fundamental aspect, being all-electric, the estimated range sets between 400 to 800 km, depending on the model you choose for.
