Tesla: Ludicrously Fast Roadster Revealed

Love it or hate it, as most people out there do not even know what a Tesla car can do. Like a lightning strike, Elon Musk’s creature releases an exaggerated bomb under the name of Roadster representing the last-born in the “all electric” family. The Tesla Roadster has shocked everyone for the figures it brings, such as a 0-60 mph of just 1.9 seconds, a top speed of over 250 miles per hour (400 kph – yes, even better than a Chiron) and an estimated mileage of 620 miles (998 km), obviously on the basis of a much easier drive.

Unlike many other cases, the Roadster is a tangible reality and will soon be put into production, finally offering the opportunity to have a fast and efficient Tesla that is also aesthetically pleasing and still able to be used every day. There are in fact four places on board, luggage space and the new “Plaid mode”, a further evolution of the crazy “Ludicrous mode”, which can jump you into hyperspace in a fraction of a second thanks to the instant “torque” available as soon as you press the right pedal. There are three electric motors, one up front and two at the rear, which will land 10,000Nm on the ground (we counted the zeros several times, it’s right as you see it written!). It will take about $ 200,000 to get in your garage the fastest car in the world, but hey, you will not even spend a coin in petrol.

And since the shock in front of the Roadster was not enough, Musk also announced that he intends to revolutionize the truck transportation segment too, showing the world his Semi Truck concept, called Semi. The Semi, which offers a central driving position, surrounded by two immense tablets by which to govern every aspect of the vehicle, will arrive in 2020, boasting an estimated 800 km autonomy (full load) towing 36 tonnes. Always in these conditions is able to reach 100 kph in about 20 seconds, otherwise it will take only 5 seconds. Pure madness. There will also be a second version with a limited range of about 480 km, always with four independent motors mounted on the rear. Tesla is also planning to build a Megacharger network, which will guarantee a recharge for 650 km in just thirty minutes of waiting. The future is here.
