The €50,000 Smart ForTwo
We can’t define it supercar, but for it’s a Supersmart. The ForTwo presented in Geneva by Brabus is so absurd that can’t but struck the hearts of fans, thanks to a color that does not go unnoticed. In fact, it comes as a limited edition of 125 units, offered both as a cabrio (like photos) than with a solid roof and probably you’d want it in this brash blue. The Smart ForTwo Brabus Ultimate 125 – this is its full name – is the latest creation of the German tuner specialized in Mercedes and for enhancing the brand so much loved by those who live in the chaotic metropolis of Europe and not only.
The Ultimate 125 has 125 horses that allow you to accelerate from 0 to 100 in 9.2 seconds, with a top speed limited at 175 kph, but it is not so much the performance aspect that catches our attention rather than the aesthetic, thanks to an extremely altered and sporty body that comes with large bumpers and wheel arches that house ultra-lightweight 18-inch wheels. And then, side skirts and a crazy tripled-tailpipe exhaust, just like a Ferrari! Inside there’s so much leather and the level of finishing is like that of an authentic supercar, always recalling the color pattern of the body. All of this is expensive, about €50,000 of course, but then you won’t pass unnoticed, even in the most terrible city traffic, the Ultimate 125 would be the ideal solution. And to us, perhaps because it’s so crazy and exaggerated, we like it a lot.
