The J50 Celebrates Ferrari’s 50 Years in Japan
Time for great celebrations for the Prancing Horse, who has recently presented the J50 Limited Edition, which will be produced in only 10 units in order to commemorate its first 50 years in Japan. The J50 is based on the 488 Spider, but differs for an enriched design and details that pay tribute to the glorious past of Ferrari. We find recent echoes, as for the F40 and F50, but also references to the icons of a few years back, as the Dino 246 GTS and 308 GTS. There are new 20-inch forged wheels and carbon fiber details that contrast and stand out vigorously on the sinuous lines of the body. At the rear, the double exhaust complete the new look created by the four taillights.
Each of the ten J50 will be spec according to specific requirements of the wealthy customers, while this very special Ferrari further raises the performance bar, pulling out 681hp from its 3.9 twin-turbo V8.
