The Most Beautiful Lady
“Like fine wine, like a beautiful woman, like a lady. The Brooklands I purchased new in 2008 is one of the 550 units produced and based on the chassis of the equally sumptuous Arnage. It was a combination of factors, of job satisfaction and the desire to put something special in my already well-fed garage – that’s how the desire to become the owner of a Brooklands was born. Its lines speak for themselves, they are elegant, sinuous, clean and viscerally sensual, you would never think that under such elegance and desire to enjoy the eye, an engine worthy of supersport performance is hiding.
Certainly the weight is not on its side, but the occasions in which you intend to widen the rear are only a few, and so I find myself enjoying the powerful 6.7 from 8 cylinders positioned like a V, which comes with two turbo and delivers the beauty of 537hp and 1050 Nm of torque. It would not appear but everything is extremely manageable and the Bentley is drivable as a “standard” limousine, without forgetting that the only two doors, are the added value for an unparalleled look for its rivals. A car for special occasions, a car to make any day a great one and a way to remember my father, who always loved Bentleys and which over the years has been able to buy some of them, the same I keep today, far more zealously than I do with this luxurious modern art living room”.
