The New Maserati GranTurismo Keeps Its Sexy Look
10 years have passed since its debut and the Maserati GranTurismo is still marvelously beautiful. If evolution was not a fundamental matter, we could safely argue that this restyling was superfluous, but the Italian trident has rightly upgraded its coupe. The 2018 model year comes with a refreshed look, thanks in particular to the new hexagonal front grille, but the silhouette we love so much has not been distorted at all.
The available engines, always produced in Maranello, are two 4.7cc V8s with a power output of 460hp at 7000 rpm with a maximum torque of 520 Nm at 4750 rpm. The gearbox is a ZF six-speed automatic. Declared performances are a 0 to 100 kph in 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 299 kph, while the lighter MC version goes from 0 to 100 in 4.7 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 301 kph. Important updates in the cabin, not only for the materials used, but for the infotainment system, updated to current standards.
