The Squadrifoglio Tour 2020 | The Mountains Still Roar

It is not over until the mountains are going to fall in complete silence, ready for a winter sleep that closes a driving season made difficult by the health emergency that the whole world has and is still going through. What is certain is that the roar of the Squadrifoglio team will continue to echo for a long time, following the days that brought together a group of Alfa Romeo Giulia all characterized by the presence of the lucky four-leaf clover and the desire to unleash the over 500 horses on some of the most exciting mountain roads in the Alps on the border between Italy, Switzerland and Austria.
The weekend from 16 to 18 October was entirely dedicated to driving, to that pure love that only a mountain road now deserted and with the first snowflakes to make everything even more muffled, more intimate and more adrenaline-filled is able to offer a gang of V6s ready to attack Alpine passes as if there was no tomorrow. Joined by a Stelvio Quadrifoglio and a Giulia Veloce as well, the group fully lived an uncompromising driving experience, in the full comfort offered by the model that more than any other gave new life to the biscione from Arese.
Crossing Davos, Fluela pass, Fuorn pass, Umbrail pass and after having pinched the Stelvio and the Mortirolo pass, the group took advantage of a Sunday spent on the shores of Lake Garda for some well-deserved relax, just before leave again – on Monday – towards Passo del Rombo, for the final stage of an exciting tour that follows the first edition held last year. The Squadrifoglio Team is already thinking about the 2021 edition, confident that with a better situation that will make travel and group events easier, even more lovers of the legendary Quadrifoglio will come together for unforgettable days of driving extravaganza. And in the meantime you can still hear the echo of the V6s in the mountains …
