The SVJ Is The Most Lunatic Aventador Lamborghini Has Ever Realized
It’s called SVJ – where J stands for Jota – and represents the craziest Aventador that Lamborghini has ever produced. It is easy to notice its warlike intentions, by the skills put into the field obtaining the new record at the Nurburgring, with a frightening 6’44”97 and you can feel it thanks to its look that does not know half measures and that in its presence would make timid also the already virtuous SuperVeloce.
The SVJ is an infusion of malice, seasoned with huge and dizzying spoilers, air intakes and a body that crawls to the ground. Behind the driver’s seat, under a new engine cover, almost completely hidden from view, is the powerful 6.5cc V12, now brought to deliver 770hp and 720Nm of maximum torque at 6750 rpm. And do not be fooled by the dimensions of the car, because the weight has been further reduced and stops the scale at 1525kg, useful for shooting from 0 to 100 kph in just 2.8 seconds.
But brute power is not the only ingredient of this SVJ, since the technicians have worked hard on the refinement of an aerodynamics devoted to the maximum performance, so as to obtain 40% more downforce than the traditional SV. The car is also equipped with the new ALA (Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva) system, which includes a new front splitter, air intakes on the hood, a new rear diffuser and an aerodynamic kit for the bottom of the car itself. Only 900 units will be produced, while the edition with the number 63 is a further tribute to the house in Sant’Agata Bolognese and will see this SVJ 63 produced in only 63 specimen, in honor of the year of foundation of the brand itself.
