The World’s Most Fashionable Motorsports Weekend
Cars & Couture held its 5th annual ultimate luxury lifestyle event in St. Petersburg, FL on November 7th, 2015. The fashion and car lovers dream weekend featured some of the world’s top performance vehicles and designer trends. This year, the three-day event produced by Luxe Fashion Group and presented by MAZ Exotics kicked off with a Road Rally from Seminole to Sarasota going through the back roads of Mayaka and stopping to view the new Bentley Bentayga at Dimmitt Automotive Group. The Rally ended at the Lamborghini Sarasota dealership where drivers enjoyed a private VIP party catered with fine cuisine.
The Cars & Couture gala, known for its luxurious exotic car display and couture fashion show was held on day 2 this year and once again took place at the breath-taking Mansion on the Bay. Inside the Mansion grounds guests experienced a lavish reception of luxury and exotic automobiles, a silent auction, catered VIP area, fine wine and cigars, live jazz band, and couture fashion show. Among many custom cars, some of the featured exotic cars included a McLaren P1, Carrera GT, and Ferrari 458 Speciale. Featured fashion designs on the runway this year included Erika Williner Jewelry, Melissa Dolce, Allison Elizabeth Designs, Shola Designs, Lady Minor, and Nikki’s Glitz & Glam Boutique.
The Motorfest continued for the third day with the Vintage Motor Classic at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. The premium classic cars show took place on the beautiful waterfront lawn set under the trees and presented over 300 pre-1980 show vehicles on display.
The annual Motorfest Weekend raises funds and awareness for Autism Speaks. The goal of Autism Speaks is to change the future for all who struggle with autism spectrum disorders. They are dedicated to funding global biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and cure for autism; to raising public awareness about autism and its effects on individuals, families, and society; and to bringing hope to all who deal with the hardships of this disorder.
