“They Say…”
The alleged characteristics of certain cars, with the passing of time, become an absolute truth, and even if anything is confirmed by facts, they latch on the car as a tattoo, in a good or in a bad way. Yes, because sometimes we hear performance enhanced by colorful stories, which mouth by mouth, increase until they become almost jokes and there are really desperate cases where the evidence (of the opposite) is sensational, so sometimes it would be better to verify these statements, or taking into account a power/weight equation, without being influenced by massive wings or stickers, because in many cases, under them, there’s nothing so sensational. That’s right, before being sure of something, to prove first without awe towards any brand could be the best approach if looking for the truth. Of course it is true that if one is accustomed to eating salt, he would find very sweet even a piece of bread and then, for some it is necessary a series of gradual and comparative testing of the various steps.
It is better to admit some small defects, downplaying a bit the expectations or remain broadly disappointed by performance inflated out of proportion by the majority of people? There is also the middle way, or to remain completely satisfied, but it is something very rare, if not impossible. If you are missing a little problem, maybe you’re not objective, because perfection does not exist; another thing is to accept a little defect, or diminishing its importance, but the fact is that it’s still there.
