An adventure where the meaning of ROAD TRIP is elevated beyond all doubts and where the crews share far more than just a driving event. The TOUR DELLE ALPI is the result of a meticulous research refined over the years by our team, a journey designed to captivate participants with some of the most majestic alpine roads imaginable. All of them carefully selected and maintained in exceptional conditions allowing to focus entirely on the thrill of driving.

It’s morning. Your grip on the steering wheel tightens, while the breathtaking scenery outside the window leaves you speechless. The engine climbs through the revs and your heartbeat quickens. A sensation to relive endlessly along the most scenic roads of the western Alpine arc between Italy and France. The triennial appointment with the TOUR DELLE ALPI is rightly considered one of those days every true driving enthusiast marks boldly on the calendar.

It is an authentic “great escape” dedicated to driving pleasure, built around carefully selected roads designed to guarantee an adventure of epic proportions. More than 250 kilometers of curves, hairpins, climbs and descents, constantly framed by the spectacular backdrop of the Alps and ready to amaze and inspire at every turn. The TOUR remains faithful to its philosophy, confirming itself as the ultimate way to celebrate driving involvement, elevated by an itinerary capable of stirring emotions that very few places in the world can match.

The event starts after a delightful breakfast in the village of Chianale, following registration and drivers’ briefing beneath the shadow of the mountains. After just a few minutes, participants tackle one of the most thrilling sections of the whole tour: the Colle dell’Agnello. Driving here in the early morning guarantees virtually no traffic, allowing the teams to enjoy a total immersion at the wheel. Crossing into France, the route then heads toward the spectacular Col d’Izoard, an essential stage renowned for its unmistakable lunar landscape.

The curves of the ribbon of asphalt climbing one side of the mountain and descending the other blend seamlessly with the faster, more flowing sections of the Col de Vars, before reaching the Col du Restefond and the Col de la Bonette, taking participants onto the highest paved road in Europe at an altitude of 2,860 meters. Strategic stops at the most panoramic viewpoints provide the perfect opportunity for photography and to preserve unforgettable memories of the day’s experience. From there, the route descends toward Isola before climbing one final time through the untouched succession of hairpin bends leading up to the Colle della Lombarda. After the final stretch, the route brings back everyone to Italy through Vinadio before arriving in Demonte for a well-earned restorative lunch, with the cars parked in a reserved area while crews relax and enjoy convivial moments together with the other participants.

The choice to have lunch in the early afternoon rather than at the traditional time reflects key elements we consider fundamental to the driving experience. This allows us not to interrupt the driving rhythm and to take advantage of lighter traffic conditions, while also ensuring a more relaxed lunch service. Finally, this schedule also provides greater flexibility for the journey home at the end of the event.

To ensure an exclusive experience and uncompromising engagement, the number of crews will be limited. This choice guarantees a dynamic organization, as well as the opportunity to set checkpoints in the most strategic points along the route. Every participant will be the true protagonist of a driving tour where passion and landscape come together in a single, unforgettable adventure.

Each crew will receive a welcome bag containing T-shirts and baseball caps for each member of the team, a pair of numerical stickers made with specific film, identification badges and various high quality gadgets to cherish the day, as well as the professional roadbooks, which we remind can also be used by those who take part in the event without co-driver, thanks to digital checkpoints that can be scanned directly from a smartphone, or using the appropriate apps compatible with GPX tracks.

As always, everything will be carefully documented through a professional photo shoot and a reportage that will be published in the magazine and also on the website, the best way to preserve the memory of an experience shared with other petrolheads.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Submit your participation request by filling out the form below in all of its parts. You will receive the liability waiver to be completed and forwarded via email. Your place will be reserved for 7 days, pending completion of the payment.

Remember that it is possible to add one or more passengers even after registering the crew with only the driver, but only if registrations are not closed due to the possible reaching of the maximum number of participants.

The event is open to cars registered and insured for road use.

Registration fees include breakfast in a partner facility, reserved parking, lunch in a reserved restaurant, T-shirt and baseball cap for each crew member, pair of number stickers made with specific film, professional paper roadbook, welcome bag and exclusive gadgets.

Any passengers or crews who show up without completing the registration will not be accepted.
