Verona Legend Cars
The second edition of the Verona Legend Cars is now archived. The event, visibly reduced from the previous year, has focused on quality though, thanks to the large Lancia racing cars parade, almost all with the classic Martini livery, which put the many fans in ecstasy. Other salient facts? Lamborghini has celebrated the 50th birthday of the Miura, with the Italian club that exposed five colorful beasts from Sant’Agata Bolognese, certainly the most photographed cars of the weekend. Alongside you could have seen some cars of the Nicolis Museum. Carrozzeria Touring celebrated its 90th birthday proposing some of their best creations. Great attraction from trucks and historical buses, including the Lancia Esatau, also with trailers. Many dealers, as always, proposing their best pieces and we could appreciate the wide range available, also with some interesting prices; then you know, there’s always some crazy guy, you never know some Martian could come to buy a vintage car for the price of three … Among the private sellers rather too few cars with no price tag (too much phone numbers), not a good idea, perhaps making it mandatory could be useful, after all, if you know that you propose a car at the right price, you better spread that thing out. The spare parts pavilion has been mated to the die-cast models one, but nevertheless it seems that at the end of the story the event has been a convincing success. See you next year!
(stay tuned for our favorite picks)
