After giving the R treatment to the smaller T-Roc and the bigger Touareg, it is time for the Tiguan to continue the argument undertaken with the other two models and therefore we have an aesthetic characterization that does not differ much from the R-Line spec, but a mechanical contribution that allows the Volkswagen SUV to bring true sports car performance into play.
We are talking about 320 horsepower distributed through the 4Motion all-wheel drive system and featuring R-Performance Torque Vectoring, good for a 0-100 kph sprint in just 4.9 seconds and a top speed limited to 250 per hour, obviously with DSG dual clutch gearbox. The Tiguan R is already available starting at € 57,900.
