WRC – Toyota is back

2017 – YEAR OF THE YARIS

We still have to wait for two long years, before seeing the awaited return of Toyota in WRC. After the abandonment of the maximum rally category, back in 1999, mythical Jap hatchbacks like the Celica GT-Four or the Corolla, were only a memory, slowly fading because of Citroen domain and the current Volkswagen’s hegemony. But Mr. Akio Toyoda himself, said that the works on the Yaris rally car are almost ended, in fact, the car has already covered miles of dirt and gravel. Now, it’s only a matter of time and wait for the developments of the regulation for understanding how to define the engine of this little angry Toyota, which will take part in the 2017 season of the world rally championship.
